New to Pilates?
If you are new to Pilates then our 6 week Introduction to Pilates course is the perfect place to start. We typically run these classes to tie in with the school terms. Choose from Monday, Thursday evening, or Tuesday mornings. This is the only time we ask you to attend at the same time every week for 6 weeks in a row. The course teaches you all the skills you need to practice Pilates effectively. You’ll learn the Introductory Matwork Order and after 6 weeks you will be ready to join our regular classes.
If our group classes don’t fit with your schedule then opt for our Beginner’s Private Mat Course. You can book four sessions to fit around your availability. Once you have finished the course you can join our regular mat classes.
Got an injury?
If you are not sure Pilates is for you, or if you have an injury, like a lower back problem, then you need to book a one to one assessment. In this one-hour session you will learn the fundamentals of Pilates and your teacher will be able to see how you get on. At the end we can then signpost you to the best option for you.
‘Fundamentals’ is the name of our easiest group mat class. It’s taught at a steady pace with plenty of options to modify the exercise to your level. We use props to support the body, where needed, and building blocks to help you work safely. You will build strength and flexibility over time in a safe and supportive environment.
Before joining our Fundamentals class you need to have done either the Beginners Course or had a private one to one session.
Mat All Levels
We have over 12 Mat All Levels classes a week to choose from. These classes build on the beginner’s course. You will learn new exercises and use props to challenge and support you. Each week the class has a new focus, to challenge you in a different way each time.
You don’t need to come to the same class each week, you can be as flexible as you like with our on-line booking system.
This class is just for the boys!
Men are welcome in all of our classes, but this class is specifically for the fellas. It is a dynamic and fun class that helps ease the stresses and strains of the working day. It is great cross training for runners, rugby players or for anyone needing to move having been stuck behind a desk all day! You need to have completed the beginners course before joining this class.
Our advanced classes work through the full Classical Matwork order and are both challenging and fun. If you would like to work towards joining this class then chat to one of our Instructors.
