The MVe Pilates Chair is amazingly versatile. You can lie on it, sit on it, balance on it, work from the floor in lying and standing positions. There are literally hundreds of exercises to explore. The springs on the chair create resistance and help to activate your deep postural muscles, helping you build strength from the inside out. If you are a skier, cyclist or runner, in fact for many sports, the MVe Pilates Chair is great cross-training. It can help improve your technique and to build strength, particularly in the legs, glutes and abs.

How do I start?
We run a 2-hour introduction to the Pilates MVe Chair workshop. It’s the perfect way to try out this amazing bit of kit. If you love it then you can join one of our many weekly classes. The workshop is a fun 2 hours of learning and exercise and is taught by Barefoot Studio’s senior Instructor Karen Ingram. Karen is a Master Instructor for Peak Pilates and through her academy, teaches people to be Pilates Instructors.
