‘The hills are alive’ with sound of Nordic Walking

Now the evenings are getting lighter and the weather warmer our Nordic Walking classes at Barefoot Studio are getting busier and busier. Our Monday night class has switched back to Porthkerry Park in Barry, and the head torches have been packed away until next winter.

Over Easter we have a day Nordic Walk planned starting from Nash Point on the Heritage Coast (about 20 minute drive from Cowbridge). The walk follows the coastal path to Monknash and then up through woodland to the Plough & Harrow pub at Monknash. After lunch we nordic walk back down to the sea and along the copastal path. Our Nordic Walking Coach, Karen is going to use the sand to work on technique. Looking at how we can clean up our plant and get more energy into pushing through our nordic walking poles. Then its back to Nash Point. There is a rumour of Easter Eggs too!

We hope you can join us for the Easter walk or for one of our regular classes. If you fancy trying Nordic Walking for the first time, come along to our Introduction to Nordic Walking Workshop on Sat 18th April. This two hour workshop will teach you all the basics of Nordic Walking whilst enjoying the lovely countryside around Cowbridge and the Vale of Glamorgan.

Check out the events pages for other Barefoot Studio activities over Easter.
