Nia classes guide you to move your body the way it is intended to move.
Combining carefully selected movements and concepts from yoga, Tai Chi, Tae kwon Do, Aikido, Jazz, Modern Dance and other movement Forms. Nia classes offer total-body cardiovascular conditioning and cross training for any sport or activity. All Nia movements are adaptable and can be personalised for any level of fitness or agility. What are classes like?
Nia is taught in group classes of mixed ability. We also offer a 6 week Introduction to Nia Course that will teach you the basic steps, stances & moves, as well as enjoying a full workout. If you are new to Nia you are also very welcome at any of our classes. There are three levels to every move in Nia allowing you to choose the level that matches your body’s needs and the energy you have on any particular day. A Nia class feels different every time and is always fun.
