Move for Macmillan Festival
June 19th-20th 2010

Candleston Campsite, Merthyr Mawr, Vale of Glamorgan
Come and join us for a weekend of movement and joy in this area of outstanding natural beauty, part of the Glamorgan Heritage Coast.
Choose your challenge. Either a 6 hour ‘Nia-thon’ or 10Km Nordic Walk. We will supply you with sponsorship forms so you can get your friends and family to support your challenge and raise money for Macmillan Cancer support.
And if you don’t want to do a full challenge you can come along and enjoy the atmosphere, the beautiful sand dunes, a campfire, nordic walking lessons & great company.
To book for the ‘Move for Macmillan Festival’ we ask for a minimum Donation of £65, please feel free to pay more if you can 
Includes overnight camping, full weekend programme of Nia or Nordic Walking. Additional activites available on request
Festival Programme
This promises to be an amazing weekend of activity, fun and relaxation in great company and all for a great cause. Please come along and help us to raise money for those living with cancer to help make their lives just a little bit easier.
Saturday June 19th
9am onwards: arrive at the campsite, unless of course you wish to camp the night before.
10am-4pm : 6 hours of Nia or 10 Km Nordic Walk – why not get your friends and family to sponsor you for this very worthy cause?
7pm- Dinner , campfire party with live music.
Sunday June 20th
Communal breakfast
10am – 30 min walk from the campsite through the stunning warren of Merthyr Mawr Sand Dunes to the beach to dance, swim, nordic walk or just relax!
Meditation sessions will be held on request in an onsite Yurt- small fee will apply.
Dinner will be available on Saturday evening
Breakfast will be available on Sunday morning
Veggie options available. Furtehr details will be forwarded on receipt of booking.
You may wish to bring your own refreshments for lunch on Saturday but there will be a food caravan nearby throughout the weekend. A variety of hot and cold drinks will also be available in the communal kitchen (pay by means of an honesty box)
The campsite has good toilet and shower facilities.
